Full Beaver Moon Ceremony

  • Misfit Studio 761 Queen St. West, 3rd Floor Toronto, ON M6J 1G1 Canada (map)

An evening to celebrate the medicine of Grandmother Moon in Gemini. Join our sacred circle to build the strength and inner resources to focus in the face of fear through channeled wisdom, crystal bowl sound healing, ritual, West African drumming, and movement.

Come celebrate the full moon like never before! Your body will be tantalized by sacred African rhythms and activated through playful movement. Your soul will be nourished by the healing sounds and channeled wisdom, and you will learn keys to focusing in the face of fear through a manifestation exercise. These events will raise your vibration, and point of attraction in your life! They are a place to let go, have fun and connect with community in a heart space. Grab your tickets while they last!

Confidentiality will be maintained around what is shared in the group. Sharing about your experience is optional. You can come by yourself or with friends. Both are welcome!

Full moons are a time when emotions surface to clear. This moon exerts a stronger pull on the waters of the Earth, and raises the tides. We are mostly water, and in many Native American traditions the water is associated with the emotional body. So the full moon is exerting a stronger pull on our emotional body, bringing what needs to clear to surface.

So come heal with us! Read more about "How the moon effects you + what you can do about it" here.

The Beaver Moon was named by many Native American tribes because it is the time of year that they used to trap beavers, to ensure warm pelts for the winter. Source

Beaver is the doer of the animal kingdom. It's medicine blends a strong sense of family and home with an industrious nature. Beaver asks us to know the power of teamwork in making a dream happen, and works with the power of group mind,

“Beaver….Teach me to build my dreams, Including others too. One mind, One thoughts, Hearts as one, Lessons learned from you.”

The Friday Night Drummers

Shelly will be supported by three of the incredible Friday Night Drummers! Be prepared to move to their beautiful and intricate West African rhythms. Learn about the history of each song and the significance of drumming in community building for West African cultures.

Truly amazing! Being in the presence of conscious, alive and genuine women is so deeply supportive and nourishing. If you’ve contemplated attending a full moon circle, trust the call and go for it. Shelly creates a beautiful space to explore the self on many levels. A-ho!
