Higher Power Spiritual Retreat

"We were there for a day and it felt like a two-week vacation". Mag Ruffman and Daniel Hunter, July 2018

About this Event

Higher Power

Life is the most beautiful dream imaginable and we must never lose sight of that, yet how we feel depends on our health and our perspective on life. Higher Retreats will help you discover gripping tools that can awaken you to greater happiness and a more fulfilling life. It does not matter if you are religious or believe in God or not, what matters is that you connect to your life’s umbilical cord and draw power from it. It will make you feel safe no matter what happens or how you see it at the time. That’s the foundation upon which you can embrace life and all events with magical excitement and without fear or need to control. You will see challenges as practical courses in the school of life to be embraced and never wasted, and your worries and resentments as spiritual cancers that rob you from the joy of life. You will be shocked at how simple it is to shed them and how much freed energy and creativity you will have to enjoy all the great things in your life now.

10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. — Registration and Aromatherapy

After a light breakfast by the pool, you will be whisked to our Lilac Meditation Labyrinth where you will be spoiled with a comprehensive orchestra of organic therapeutic oils expertly blended for significant health benefits. Valentina (Tina) Maviskalyan, is a PhD in Biology with further training in Forestry and chemical engineering, and was a Professor to medical students studying “Biochemistry of Medical Plants”. Tina will also use special blends of volatile oils and aromatic resins during meditation for calming and to ward off unwelcomed insects without the use of pesticides. See the attached progress report for more information.

The Higher Retreat will then kick off with a theme introduction by your Host, Charles Hanna.

12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. — Yoga

Alexandria Santaguida is an amazing healer and artist. Alexandria will be DJ’ing, teaching Yoga and sharing a sound bath at this beautiful day retreat. What is Sound Healing? It is meditation with frequency and vibration in the form of music. Nothing is required from you; all you need is to receive. The healing sounds of the crystal singing bowls work with frequency and vibration. They are made from pure crystal quartz. The bowls Alexandria uses are tuned to 432hz. This frequency works directly with the physical body, the chakra system and with your cells to assist the body to relax, restore and replenish. You can expect to feel a deep sense of relaxation. You may experience emotional release, fall asleep or astral project – depending on where you are at and what you need – your experience is unique to you and will change every time.
