Full Strawberry Moon Ceremony

  • 889 Community 889 Yonge Street Toronto, ON, M4W 2H2 Canada (map)

An evening to celebrate the Strawberry Moon and illuminate the light within as Grandmother Moon shines fully in Sagittarius. This event is suitable for all levels of healing experience.

Celebrate the full moon like never before! Nourish your soul through the healing sounds of crystal bowls and channeled wisdom from Shelly’s guides, the Lords of Light. Revitalize your body through a nurturing and grounding movement flow, with Goddess Elisha Arthurs, blending yoga, Qi Gong and honouring of your physicality. Anchor in new possibilities with activating affirmations and seal your aura with divine love through a gentle closing sound bath…

Divine Love is the theme that will be woven throughout the evening. Join us to embrace the beauty of your masculine and feminine in their purest forms. Uncover what the qualities of each are, and embrace how they exist as strengths within you. Where you have looked outside of yourself to feel support or filled, claim your ability to fill any voids within. As you do so, you will claim your ability to fill yourself with the love you seek. Come into your natural resonance with love. A new journey on the road of receiving it, which is your birthright, begins.

You will leave feeling lighter, connected and spiritually rich. These events will raise your vibration, and point of attraction in your life! They are a place to let go, have fun and connect with community in a heart space.

Confidentiality will be maintained around what is shared in the group. Sharing about your experience is optional. You can come by yourself or with friends.

Full moons are a time when emotions surface to clear. This moon exerts a stronger pull on the waters of the Earth, and raises the tides. We are mostly water, and in many Native American traditions the water is associated with the emotional body. So the full moon is exerting a stronger pull on our emotional body, bringing what needs to clear to surface.

So come heal with us! Read more about "How the moon effects you + what you can do about it" here.

The Strawberry Moon was named by the Algonquin Native American tribes a signal to gather the ripening fruit of wild strawberries. This moon is also called the Honey Moon and Full Rose Moon. Source

Elisha Arthurs

Born Free. We in human form have the unlimited potential of a brilliant mind, a flowing body temple and a loving soulful spirit. May we "live free in Creation" This notion was passed on to Elisha at birth, born into a Rasta family; her mother an artist and her father a writer and DJ, Elisha witnessed how creative expression and poetic endeavours helped to spiritually liberate her kin and community.

She actively pursued the art of movement from a young age, and has a rich background in contemporary dance, African and Caribbean dance, creative movement and choreography. Elisha started practising Yoga at 16, and became a certified Sananda Devi Hatha Yoga instructor under the gracious guidance of Ananda Shakti in 2006. In addition she has received intensive Qi Gong training and recently became a Radiant Lotus Women's Qi Gong teacher under the divine guidance of Daisy Lee.

Within the oneness of these many strands of wisdom, Elisha enjoys practising, performing, and teaching these movement modalities as her spiritual calling. She loves working with men, women and children from all walks of life, for movement and rhythm seem to be universally crucial to the well being of all. Elisha is also  a traditional drummer, craftswoman, jeweller, writer, herbalist, Douala and healer.

She also enjoys living on the land with her four children, ceremonial life, travelling by foot, bike and train, and spinning roots/ soul/ reggae music! One Love

Such a magical experience and a powerful time of change for me so it was perfect to set new intentions. I loved dancing so freely to the exotic rhythm of the drums and tribal music and receiving [Shelly’s] healing energy was an unexpected gift. The people, the space, the energy, the was an amazing time, thank you!
