Solstice Full Moon Ceremony

Honouring the sacred balance of seasons.

Join us on June 21st for a summer solstice gathering in honour of the full moon and the sacred balance of seasons, night and day.

We are intending an enchanting evening to delight the senses and draw upon the ancient wisdom that informs these times.

The practice of ceremony is woven into many world cultures, centring around the solstice to honour the balance of light and dark: equal day, equal night.

To honour this cycle we bring together the rhythm of drums and movement. The evening will open with a transmission of wisdom by Shelly Burton, followed by the chance to ask questions to her guides. We will then journey into a movement flow exploring the groove of live drumming and tribal rhythms. Set in the beautiful neighbourhood of the Junction, Shelly's healing home is an intentional space perfectly aligned for dancing this mid-summer’s dream. Moving barefoot in this beautiful studio to drumming will surely delight you from the inside out.

Rhythm of Change brings together ancient wisdom practices in a modern day manifestation. 

This will be a gathering utilizing the tools of rhythm, movement, vocal wisdom and luscious foods.
